Do the things you don’t enjoy

We tell ourselves a little white lie every day.

“If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it”

The truth is, lots of the things we don’t enjoy doing are very good for us to do.

  1. Eat your vegetables.
  2. Eat healthy.
  3. Only drink water.
  4. Delete your social media accounts.
  5. Exercise every day.
  6. Cut off your “friends” who are negative.
  7. Work less, earn less money, but gain more free time.
  8. Write that book.

Living your life by only doing things that you enjoy in the moment is a surefire way to never do anything good.

Everything worth doing is 80% doing the work and 20% enjoying the rewards. Maybe even less than that.

The next time you’re putting off doing something you don’t enjoy, get it done.

It’ll be worth it in the future.
