I accidentally found myself writing a few books.
I realised that I didn't really make things the way other people make things. I had this habit of writing tweets every day or designing a poster every day or basically just all these other weird and wonderful daily projects.
I decided that the medium that felt the most appropriate to talk about that was in a book. So I wrote a book.
I called it Extreme Production.
It was the first book I found myself accidentally writing.
Extreme Production: The Book
You're procrastinating. You're reading this. There's something else you should be doing.I used to do it too. This used to be me:Another task app that just might solve my procrastination this time. Wait, maybe its another productivity methodology that I need to learn before I can finally start making something.
Then I started making these weird visuals on Twitter.
During the process of making these visuals I started to discover somethings that resonated with people. I liked looking at famous quotes in a little bit of a different way to others.
I pondered the idea of a book that takes the visual, adds the quote, and then I write about what I thought about the quote.
The book was designed to destroy procrastination.
I called it Press Start.
Everyone has dreams.Everyone has projects. Everyone has to start somewhere.Whatever it is that you're planning on getting ahead with; this book is going to get you to START.Not just sit around and think about it some more,Not just keep thinking up big "plans",Not waiting for the perfect time...This time round, you're actually going to press START.A small book, designed to get you OUT of those never-ending moments of procrastination, filled with all things inspirational for when you just can't seem to get ahead. This book isn't about delaying your "moment" some more.
